Pigments of Your Imagination by Sage Taylor

Pigments of your Imagination, Sage Taylor’s 2009 album, began as an afterthought for 2007′s ‘Manufacture your Brothers.’
Where that album was decidedly warm and mystical (in the furthest-reaching senses of the words), POYI was to take a more relaxed, cooler (but not colder) route.
The result was two years of experimenting with new techniques that ultimately ended up in a dubbier, more ambient sound, as opposed to the warm, almost hip-hop approach that permeated MYB.
After the dust settled, the tracks were arranged, and what you see here is the final product of two years worth of work, rolled into an hour and sixteen minutes of chilled out ambient techno that’s pleased to finally see its release on a label, where others will hopefully enjoy it for a long time to come.
